Thailand

After Christmas I had 8 wonderful and unexpected days in Thailand thanks to a very generous, very dear friend. It was a great week with Victor's family in his village just north of Chiang Mai. Both Victor's brothers, Chi and Somnuk, returned 'home' for Christmas and New Year (see photo). We were visited there by the Wilsons (Bekah and Caity are in the photo) who we know from working at Christ Church, Bangkok. I had lots of other lovely reuinions with friends in Chiang Mai and in Bangkok, where I spent the last 2 days. Being an unplanned trip everything felt like a bonus! On my last day Victor and I went to the Australian visa office and lodged his visa application - finally! So hopefully he will be in Australia soon...
