Protest on the Town Green

Yesterday Victor and I went down to the Town Green to see Brian and Amy (who Victor lives with) performing with their band. The music was great fun and a crowd gathered.

We realised there was a group gathering with placards, so Victor picked one up and joined in.

Then the local television news arrived. Sure enough, last night on the evening news, a story on the protest against Japanese whale-killing in Australian waters featured Victor as one of the main protesters! We've got it on video too - a good laugh!

(By the way, he did agree it was a worthy cause once I explained to him what his placard said!)

fantastic! you'll have to show us the vid when we're there
Thankyou for the beautiful shawl Rachel and Victor. You are always so organised with gifts.
The entire family have spent the afternoon trying to put Maddy's tangram (she openned it early) back together. We were sure there was a piece missing. I just googled it and we now have success. A great gift. Thankyou.
