Wimbledon, here we come!

We've just returned from our weekly tennis at the courts above Oxley Beach. Mum, Dad and I are the only regulars - we've been going for about 4 or 5 months.
It's great exercise and good fun (though very frustrating that even after all these months I still can't get most of my serves in!)

from the length of the shadows i say you go in the early evening... am i right? i was thinking of getting tom a series of games at the tennis courts in regents park, for his birthday - i definitely will now, after seeing your impressive, promo, action shots
Yes, 5pm. It's perfect because the heat of the day is over (mostly!) but it's still light. We get a lovely sea breeze too. And we've only been rained out once or twice in all these months.
how much does it cost? how do they survive financially if you are the only regulars?
I am impressed Rachel. I find tennis very frustrating.
Great news about Victor.
Love Jenny xxx
Hi Jenny! How lovely to have you joining our chat! Do you have your own blog yet? If not you must start one.
By the way, I'll be in Sydney next week. Poppy and Marty are heading to Indonesia for a year so I'm going down to farewell them. Any chance of me dropping in on Friday arvo?

I think they must have other regulars during the week. We are often the only ones there on Sundays. It only cost us $7.70. I just love tennis. I am improving v much, but have not a killer instinct, so hardly ever win.Well, never win.
